The spirit of this nation is
dependent upon the people's trust and loyalty to God. When the
people dismiss their responsibility to God, they also dismiss the
right to call upon Him and invoke His powers in the defense and
sustenance of this nation and land.
It is critical that we as
the American people become responsive, not only to the plight of our
nation at this time, but also that we show our gratitude to God. By
serving one another, by honoring the laws set forth by those
righteous leaders whom we have elected, and most of all by honoring
and living the laws of heaven.
We are a people who are
immersed in the ideology of leadership and example before the world.
When we set a standard, the world follows. If our standard is the
hand love, fellowship, and friendship, as was set forth by Jesus
Christ, then that is the standard the world will follow, but if our
standard is one of arrogance, avarice, and suppression, then that is
the example the world will conform to.
Isn't it about time
that we as a nation stop seeking after frivolous temporary
gratification and take a deep look inside? We have so much to give
the world and so much good to spread. If individuals would just
spend five minutes introspectively evaluating what they can do in
their neighborhoods and in this nation to make things better, can
you imagine the way it could change the world?
My challenge
to this people is to step out of their complacency and do something
to actively pursue their lives' mission. Let's make this nation
stand tall and be the light that the world is looking to. I believe
that together we can make this nation shine brighter than ever
before. United as a people in truth before our God, with Him
lighting our way.
